Our Story

We’d like to think that innovative, local customer services and a firm commitment to carbon-neutral deliveries have contributed to our success, but our brand plays a major part too. To understand why, it’s useful to look back over the past 30 years.

When we launched our courier services in 1989, the world was changing around us. Our customers were working hard to meet their just-in-time deadlines and demand for next morning and same day delivery was growing. The major carriers were slow to adapt and increasing numbers of independent courier firms entered the market. We launched as a same day courier company and quickly added next day & international services. We came up with innovative new ideas and IT solutions to make booking and tracking easier and we hired great people with a friendly and professional approach to delivering urgent shipments across the UK and beyond.

Today, we continue to remain an independent courier company that works closely with over 180 associated service centres across the UK to provide unrivalled coverage and the highest standards of service.

Our Timeline

1989 - Incorporated and Bristol depot opened

1993 – Brand refresh & and new depot opened in Cardiff

1995 – Founder members of the National Courier Association

2004 – Joined APC Overnight network

2010 – Acquired Cardiff Cycle Couriers & launched our carbon-neutral cycle courier services in Cardiff

2014 – Acquired Velocity Cycle Logistics and launched carbon-neutral cycle courier services in Bristol

2015 – Acquired Bristol Cycle Couriers

2018 – Opened a new depot serving Bath and the surrounding areas
